Evening Activities
Dinner On An Island
The town of Bainbridge is just a 35-minute ferryboat ride from downtown Seattle and a scenic way to get to dinner. Bainbridge is a small community on the water just opposite downtown Seattle. The ferry ride to Bainbridge offers views of the Seattle skyline, West Seattle and with a little luck, Mt Rainier. Once in Bainbridge, you can meander through the park or stroll down “main” street to one of several memorable restaurants. Time your return to view the sunset or enjoy the city lights. (Dinner reservations recommended).
Sunset Sail
How about a picnic at sunset on a 70-foot sailing boat? Enjoy assembling a picnic at the Pike Place Market (don’t miss DeLaurenti’s, Beecher’s Handmade Cheese, Le Panier, Dish D’Lish, Three Girls Bakery or Piroshyki-Piroshyki). Or ask the hotel to pack an organic picnic for you. “Let’s Go Sailing!” will do all the work while you relax for the 2 1/2 hour sunset sail (reservations required).
Teatro Zinzanni
Teatro ZinZanni is a magical evening of cabaret, comedy and cirque. The performances take place all around you, from the moment you step into their Lower Queen Anne location. While enjoying the ever-changing production, guests are served a five-course feast designed by Northwest chef Tom Douglas.
Fairmont and 5th Avenue Theatre
Experience two award-winning performances in one evening at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre and The Fairmont Olympic Hotel. Located a half block from the theatre, The Georgian’s $49 pre-theater menu includes a three-course dinner and valet parking for the entire evening. A special menu created for each 5th Avenue production complements the show and features seasonal ingredients. The 5th Avenue Theatre continues to captivate audiences with award-winning musicals. Check with the concierge desk for the theatre's current productions.
