Moonlit Cruising From Quay To Shining Quay

Treat the family to a scenic tour down the Singapore River on board a vintage bumboat, much like the ones used by Singapore’s early immigrants and settlers primarily for their source of livelihood. A 30-min cruise covering Clarke Quay to Clifford Pier costs $13SGD and $8SGD (Adult/Child), whilst a 45-min cruise, which covers the whole river from Robertson Quay to Clifford Pier costs $18SGD and $10SGD (Adult/Child). To reach Clarke Quay proceed to City Hall MRT station located approximately 50 metres from the hotel lobby and take the train (Red Line) towards Jurong East/Woodlands area and alight at the next stop (Dhoby Ghaut station). Walk towards the North East Line (NEL) direction (50 metres away) and take the train to HarbourFront station. Disembark at Clarke Quay just one station away from Dhoby Ghaut MRT.

A Soiree With Nocturnal Creatures

A trip to Singapore will not be so perfect without visiting the world’s first wildlife park built specially for sleepless creatures of the night, the Singapore Night Safari. Nestled within 40 hectares of lush secondary forest and inhabited by 1,040 animals from 120 species of which 29% are threatened. This destination attracts over a million visitors each year. Experience firsthand a unique safari park, divided into eight geographical zones, which may be explored either on foot via three walking trails, or by tram.

A direct bus service, at around $4SGD per trip/per person is available daily at DFS Galleria in Scotts Road at 6:05pm, 7:05pm and 8:05pm. Bus leaves Night Safari at 9:30pm, 10:00pm, 10:30pm, 11:00pm and 11:30pm. The Night Safari is approximately 30 to 40 minutes away from the city. Other pick-up locations are also available. Admission to the Singapore Night Safari costs $22SGD (Adults) and $11SGD (Children 3 to 12 years old). Tickets are available at the Zoo entrance.
