Introduction to Qigong & Sound Healing


Qigong or Taoist Yoga is a form of moving meditation, based in Traditional Chinese Medicine and is practiced throughout China and worldwide for exercise, relaxation, preventative medicine and self-healing. The practice coordinates slow and flowing movement, stretches and deep rhythmic breathing, and visualization and generates a calm, meditative state of mind.In this deeply relaxing, playful, and energizing workshop, participants are invited to honor the season, and drop deeply into their bodies using simple and accessible movements of Qigong and chant. Restorative & Yin Yoga


Relax, recharge and refresh with restorative and yin yoga. Long held poses (yin) allow for a deep opening in the body. Restorative postures release held tension in the body creating more flow of energy... Both relax the mind and free the breath. Aqua Zen


In the Watsu mineral water pool, experience a fusion of ancient movement forms, (Yoga and Tai Chi,) and more contemporary mind/body movement, (Pilates and Qigong) The journey takes you to a place of deep physical and mental relaxation, while practicing breathing techniques, centering, balance, core control, and free form movement. Spirit of Aloha


The Aloha Spirit is a reference to the attitude of friendly acceptance for which the Hawaiian Islands are so famous. Instructor Marlene Caldes, certified Hula instructor shows participants in this workshop the way to tune into this power and have it work for them. Your Fluid Nature


Explore the fluid nature of our bodies through the use of balls and foam rollers, to hydrate our connective tissues and to “iron out” our kinks in certain asanas. The last half hour of class we will take our practice to the thermal pool to enjoy water yoga. Suitable for all levels, but not for pregnancy. 2:00pm- 4:00pm $60.00/person
