Chef for a Day Package
Ever wonder what it would be like to be behind the scenes of a restaurant kitchen?
The Fairmont Southampton gives our guests the opportunity to do so with our Chef for a Day Package. Spend an entire day with a classically trained chef at one of our four award-winning restaurants.
Choose from our:
- Fresh local seafood restaurant, Ocean Club
- Modern, creative cuisine inspired by the classics at our new Gastropub, Newport, a Gastropub
- Four-diamond, historic award-winning steakhouse, Waterlot Inn
- Authentic Italian restaurant, Bacci.
- Creative pastry kitchen that creates desserts for all restaurants, including Jasmine Lounge
After your day in the kitchen, enjoy a special dinner for two in the restaurant. This package also includes a chef’s apron and overnight accommodations.
Small groups of friends can take advantage of this behind the scenes experience and the maximum number of participants is six.
- Accommodation in a luxurious air conditioned Fairmont room with private balcony
- A Day in the Kitchen with the Chef in the kitchen from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (Restaurant kitchen of your choice, subject to availability*)
- Dinner for two in restaurant of choice
- Fairmont Apron (per person)
*April - September: Ocean Club, Waterlot, Bacci, Pastry Kitchen & Newport, a Gastropub
*October - March: Waterlot, Pastry Kitchen or Newport, a Gastropub
*Restaurants subject to seasonal closures.
Chef Day must fall between Monday – Thursday between April to October.
Friday, Saturday, or Sunday apprentice days only available from November to March (only Newport, a Gastropub and Waterlot Inn available)
If selecting the pastry kitchen, we suggest Jasmine Lounge for your meal.
This offer is available year-round, subject to availability.
Rates start from $239 USD per person based on double occupancy and are exclusive of tax, gratuity and resort levy.
