FAIRMONT SOUTHAMPTON UPDATE

In late 2019, The Fairmont Southampton announced one of the most exciting and large-scale renovation projects in Bermuda history.

Unfortunately, the COVID pandemic and resulting global economic climate has caused the planning process to take much longer than anticipated. Substantial pre-construction work has been completed, and we anticipate construction to commence later this year.

  • Twizy 2 seater electric mini-cars are available to rent or recharge at the resort. Please visit currentvehicles.com for more information or to book online. Self parking is available for mopeds and Twizys, free of charge.

  • Buses and taxis are readily available for guests to get around the island. Bus tokens available at the Concierge Desk and Hotel Front Desk. Taxis are available at the airport, hotel, City of Hamilton, and are available by calling the Bermuda Taxi Association at 441-296-2121. Taxi fare from Airport is approximately $60 USD, plus tip (1-4 persons) and is a 30 minute drive each way.

    Bermuda Bus Routes and Maps

  • The only airport in Bermuda is L.F. Wade International Airport (BDA) located in St. George's, approximately 35 minutes from Fairmont Southampton. This International Airport has daily flights to the US east coast, Canada and The United Kingdom.

    Direct shuttle service to and from the airport can be pre-arranged online by visiting CEO Transport Bermuda. Or call 441-234-4366 in advance of your arrival. The shared airport shuttle is $20 per person. Private transfers & island tours are also available. Rates subject to change without notice.
  • Scooters and bicycles may be rented from Smatt's Cycle Livery on the hotel property.
    Must be minimum of 18 years of age.
    All rentals include lock, helmet, map and carry basket.
    Cash, credit card (Visa or Mastercard) accepted, or charge to guestroom.
    Rates and online booking may be found on the Smatt's Cycle Livery website.

  • Our complimentary Ferry Tour between Southampton and the City of Hamilton is exclusive for hotel guests of Fairmont Southampton (Hotel ID required). The Ferry has a limited capacity and is available to the first guests.

    Ferry services for guests operate between The Dock at The Waterlot at Fairmont Southampton and Albouy's Point in the heart of the city of Hamilton (weather permitting). Golf clubs/bags are permitted on board, but no luggage is allowed. Please refer to your registration package for details and times.

    This beautiful scenic Bermuda boat tour takes about 25 minutes each way.
