GETTING TO ST. ANDREWS
St Andrews is in the Kingdom of Fife on Scotland's east coast. There are three major international airports that guests fly into:

Edinburgh (Approximately 83.5 km / 52 miles) 
Glasgow (Approximately 118.9 km / 73.9 miles) 
Aberdeen (Approximately 135 km / 84 miles)
Transfer to Fairmont St Andrews is approximately 1 hour from Edinburgh or 2 hours and 15 minutes from Glasgow. It is possible to take the scenic route from Edinburgh Airport to St Andrews, driving through picturesque and charming fishing villages, but this adds approximately 30 minutes to the journey.

Located: 83.5 km / 52 miles, or about a 75-minute drive from the resort.

Take A90 over the Forth Road Bridge on to the M90.
At junction 8 take the A91 towards St Andrews.
Follow A91 to St Andrews.*

Located: 118.9 km / 73.9 miles or about a 2-hour drive from the resort
Directions from Glasgow
From Glasgow take M8 towards Edinburgh,
At Junction 2 turn onto M9 and follow signs for the Forth Road Bridge
Take A90 over the Forth Road Bridge on to the M90.
At junction 8 take the A91 towards St Andrews.
Follow A91 to St Andrews.*

ABERDEEN AIRPORT INFORMATION (ABZ)
Located: 135 km / 84 miles or approx. a 100-minute drive north of the resort.
Directions from Aberdeen
Take A90 towards Dundee.
In Dundee city centre, follow signs for Tay Bridge. Cross Tay Bridge.At roundabout take 2nd exit for Kirkcaldy & St Andrews.
At Forgan roundabout take 1st exit for St Andrews.
Continue on A914, follow signs for Leuchars A919.
At Leuchars roundabout take 2nd exit for Guardbridge.
At Guardbridge roundabout take 1st exit for St Andrews.
Continue on A91 to St Andrews.* 

*At St Andrews at the 1st roundabout take 2nd exit for town centre.
At next roundabout take 1st exit onto North Street.
Continue along North Street to Cathedral and follow the road round to the right.
At mini roundabout take 1st exit A917 for Crail
Fairmont St Andrews is approximately 2.0 miles on the left.

Train information
St Andrews is not on the train line. The nearest station is Leuchars on main line from London, Edinburgh and Aberdeen (20-minutes away from Fairmont St. Andrews). St Andrews may be reached by car, taxi or by bus from Leuchars. More information available from the concierge.
