East Neuk of Fife
A 15-minute drive from Fairmont St Andrews is the breathtaking coastline known as the East Neuk of Fife. Fresh sea air, wide sweeping beaches, picturesque fishing villages with bustling harbours such as Crail, Anstruther, St Monans, Elie and Pitenweem. Visitor attractions include Crail Pottery, with its wide range of locally made pottery, the Fishing Museum in Anstruther then stop off at the famous Anstruther Fish Bar with it’s award-winning fish and chips.

Scotland's Secret Bunker
This military installation was used extensively during World War II and was kept secret for more than 40 years. Explore the tunnels and mysterious spaces beneath Scotland and marvel at the huge concrete structure, which was used during Scotland’s darkest history periods.

Kellie Castle
This ancient and reputedly haunted Castle dates back to the 14th Century and has an enchanting walled garden, woodland and meadow walk. There is a children's adventure playground full of quizzes and treasure hunts.

Isle of May
Sail in the “May Princess” from Anstruther to the Isle of May. This island is a National Nature Reserve owned and run by the Scottish Natural Heritage. Enjoy a lovely walk on the island and visit the remains of a 12th Century monastery and the oldest light house in Scotland. The island is also home to a wide selection of seabirds such as Puffins, Guillemot, Shag, Razorbill, Eiderduck and Cormorant. Visitors can also spot dolphins and whales in late July and August. Seals can be seen all year round.
