Underwhelming experience for an $800 per night hotel. Not much attention on checkin. Sterile bar atmosphere with ridiculously high prices. Woken up by noisy garbage trucks outside my room.
The staff was great, the room lovely, we will be back.
I truly enjoyed my visit. The Plaza is such a dreamy place. Some of the workers there were not the friendliest but aside from that everything else was a dream.

Hotel and room was in great shape
I book a room at the plaza to celebrate our 4th anniversary together, however, without my partner’s knowledge it was also to celebrate my proposal to her the following day. Upon arrival our room was upgraded for it being our anniversary alone which was amazing. The room was clean and extravagant. We had never seen such a fancy bathroom! They even sent homemade macaroons and champagne to our room. Room service was excellent and our complimentary breakfast was delicious. We will definitely try to make a tradition of visiting. Thank you so much for helping me make this visit extra special.

This washy first time stay at the Plaza, We flew in from CA to stay here for 4 nights for my 30th birthday. There were a lot of issues about getting service to our room and no special treat for spending my birthday there. I've stayed at much smaller and less popular hotels. all over the world that have made my birthday special with a bottle of champagne or some chocolate, but unfortunately there wasn't even a mentioned of it even though they were aware. Definitely not the magical and special stay I was expecting for my 30th.

The service as The Plaza was impeccable. From the moment we walked in the door through the moment we departed to the airport, we were handled with white-glove care. The hotel maintains its opulence throughout.

It was my first time at the Plaza, Ale upgraded me to a wonderful balcony room and sent me a wonderful welcome treat. Staff makes you feel special.
Arrived Saturday and checked out Tuesday. Monday night we had a clogged toilet in the room we were moved to. We stayed in Eloise the night before and went to a regular room the next day. The repair man came to fix it and it took so long it was so backed up that we had to sit there and listen to him plunging it over and over. Water splashing etc. When he left no one came to clean up. It felt gross to have to use it. There was also a strange smell in that room. We left the room to walk around and get fresh air. I asked the front desk to send someone to spray air freshener and I don’t think they ever did since it smelled just as bad when we returned. We should have been offered to move rooms instead of having to deal with that situation.
