Named after ancient Egyptian precious stones and Red Sea treasures, the conferences and catering facilities at Fairmont Towers, Heliopolis, are by far the largest and best-equipped in Cairo. More than 4,500 square meters of banqueting space and innovative themed coffee breaks, breakfast packages, lunch buffets, and cocktail reception tidbits are particularly designed to ensure an air of unrivalled luxury in unforgettable settings with emphasis on culinary magic and personalized service.

There are three function rooms on the mezzanine level; Amber, Turquoise, and Onyx, which is a fully equipped smart room. The business center is on the same level and it has its own pantry and two board rooms. On the naturally lit lower mezzanine level, there are two meeting rooms – Coral and Granite – and the main ballroom – The Canyon – along with two bars. Amber, Turquoise, Onyx, and Coral are 130 square meters each. Granite is 100 square meters and The Canyon is 1800 square meters.

The lower mezzanine level is equipped with a huge elevator that can accommodate a passenger car, which makes Fairmont Towers, Heliopolis an ideal venue for car launches. The car parking also opens directly into the lower mezzanine giving guests a higher level of privacy and independence. The governing theme on this level is that of the Red Sea; the marble walls have earth tone patterns that represent the shore and the sand. Two water features take the shape of a slide on the wall with special lighting effects that reflects the rippling of water on the floor.

The eye-shaped Canyon is an extension of the Red Sea theme with carpeted floors in the same earth tone colors of the sand wall in the atrium. Looking at the ceiling, glass light rods taking the form of corals shed a variety of colors on the floors and scattered LED lights give the twinkling effect of the stars.  The Canyon has a built in stage with a separate entrance for entertainers and a special lift that goes down directly from the rooms to the stage. It can be divided into four sections using a fabric partition; Colored Canyon, White Canyon, Blue Canyon, and Rock Canyon.

Seating wise, Amber, Turquoise, Onyx, and Coral can accommodate 119 guests seated in a reception style, 100 guests theatre style, 75 delegates in classroom seating, 60 on round tables, and 25 in a U-shape design. Granite can accommodate 95 guests seated in a reception style, 80 guests theatre style, 60 delegates in classroom seating, 50 on round tables, and 20 in a U-shape design. The Canyon is ideal for big events and can be customized for smaller gatherings; it could accommodate a total of 2,152 guests in a reception, 1,600 guests theatre style, 1,200 delegates in classroom seating, and 1,000 on round tables.
