"Garden to Globe" - The Fairmont Vancouver Airport's Herb & Vegetable Garden

The Fairmont Vancouver Airport has an herb and vegetable garden, aptly named "Garden to Globe". Located in the nearby Terra Nova Sharing Farm, the plots have produced many fresh, organic, and delicious herbs and vegetables that we are using in our 100 Mile Menu available at our award-winning, signature restaurant Globe @ YVR.

Our culinary team is hard at work this years crop.

Terra Nova Sharing Farm

The Fairmont Vancouver Airport has several garden plots in the Terra Nova Sharing Farm located in Richmond, British Columbia, about 6 kilometres from our hotel.

Fairmont Volunteers

Colleagues from several departments at The Fairmont Vancouver Airport volunteer their time to prepare the garden - planting seeds, and turning soil, watering, fertilizing, and managing the compost.

Garlic Grows

Garlic and chives are just a few of the items we have grown and are now using in our 100 Mile Menu available now in our award-winning restaurant Globe@YVR.

The Honey Bees

The Fairmont Vancouver Airport's honey bees are located at YVR's McDonald Beach Park. The million bees are hard at work producing the 'liquid gold' that is available for purchase at the hotel.
