Dinner and A Movie
Start your evening at Globe@YVR, our signature restaurant. Set amid spectacular mountains, ocean and runway views, Globe@YVR features a tantalizing menu of fresh Pacific Northwest ingredients and service that’s second to none.

After dinner, a 15-minute taxi will take you Silvercity Riverport, an entertainment complex featuring a 19-screen cinema, including an IMAX theatre. The latest movies are offered at multiple times daily, and our concierge team will be pleased to assist with ticket purchases. For a more active endeavor, substitute the movie with bowling at The Zone, also located at the Silvercity complex.

After dinner, head to the River Rock Casino, located 5 minutes by taxi from The Fairmont Vancouver Airport. The casino features over 900 slot machines, 100 gaming tables, and Canada’s largest poker room. There is also a 950 seat state-of-the-art show theatre, which plays host to a dazzling line up of entertainers, celebrity concerts, dinner theatre, trade shows and special events. Our concierge team will be pleased to assist with show times and ticket purchase. 

Romantic Dinner in Steveston Village
Charming and quaint, the historic fishing village of Steveston is easily reached via a 20-minute taxi ride from The Fairmont Vancouver Airport. The village is home to a variety of restaurants and cafés, offering either a casual or formal dining experience.

Our suggestion is Tapenade – an urban bistro offering a Mediterranean inspired selection of tapas and entreés, sure to please even the most discerning palate. After dinner, enjoy a leisurely stroll along the scenic dyke trail. The trail follows the Fraser River, offers views of the coastal mountains, and during summer months highlights our spectacular West Coast sunsets.
