Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown is nearly complete with phase I of an exciting $27 Million renovation that will transform the hotel into the premier luxury travel destination in the nation’s capital. The project adds contemporary and innovative features important to today’s travelers, such as multi table level data ports for maximum connectivity and desks doubling as dining tables. The project is being conducted in two phases to minimize any inconvenience to guests and the hotel will remain open throughout the renovation.
Phase I encompasses all guestrooms and suites, including the exclusive Fairmont Gold experience and new 2,990 square foot Kennedy Ballroom. All guestrooms and The Kennedy Ballroom, which increases event and meeting capacity, are complete. The suites, including the two new specialty suites (West End and Dupont), will be completed by mid-June. We know that our new specialty suites will meet the needs and expectations of all discerning travelers.
