Bellmen are located at the hotel's concierge desk in the Main Lobby. They are available to assist with porterage, luggage storage and on-site shuttle service.
Check-in time is 4:00 p.m.
Check-out time is 12:00 p.m.
The Concierge desk is located in the main lobby and is open between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. each day. Three of The Fairmont Washington, D.C.'s five Concierge are members of Les Clefs d'Or, the prestigious international association of Concierge who champion the philosophy of helping guests get what they want, how and when they want it.
The Concierge staff of The Fairmont Washington, D.C. can guide you through the city, assisting with the following:
- Purchasing tickets to theater and sporting events
- Arranging transportation
- Booking city tours
- Recommending restaurants and shopping venues
- Directing you to special attractions or events
- Confirming hours of operation for the city's most cherished museums and monuments
Guests have easy access to elevators in the Main Lobby.
W.H. Smith Gift Shop is located at the hotel and you can find items such as sundries, newspapers and gifts.

Laundry and dry cleaning is available seven days a week at The Fairmont Washington, D.C. There is also valet service and complimentary shoe shine available.
The cost for parking at The Fairmont Washington, D.C. is:
- $12 for the first hour
- $16 for one to two hours
- $22 for two to three hours
- $24 for three to ten hours
- $30 for after ten hours/overnight

VID, Very Important Dog, treatment at The Fairmont Washington, D.C. Dogs arriving at the hotel, with their owners of course, are greeted with healthy treats handmade by the Executive Chef accompanied by bottled water and a handy placemat. Each time a guest stays at the hotel with their pet, 5% of their room rate is donated to the Washington Animal Rescue League.
The Fairmont Washington D.C.'s no-charge Pet Program includes lots of other practical items like walking maps to nearby parks, a list of nearby, pet-friendly restaurants, cafes and stores, even loaner leashes and collars, just in case you forgot to pack. The finishing touch, a special sign for your door - the green paw means, 'please service room, animal companion exploring city.' Flip sides to the red paw and Spot can slumber on, 'do not disturb, animal companion napping.'
All guest rooms are equipped with an in room safe for your convenience. There are also safety deposit boxes located at the Front Desk.
The Fairmont Washington, D.C. is fully ADA compliant and wheelchair accessible, with nine ADA guestrooms in the Fairmont room type. These rooms feature sound and light fire/life/safety systems, grab bars and lowered towel racks in the bath, lowered peep holes in the doors, lowered closet bars and one of our ADA guestrooms has a roll-in shower.
