WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The Fairmont Washington, D.C. is pleased to announce the return of West End Weeknights. Every Monday through Friday evening between 5:00 and 7:30 p.m., beginning on Monday, April 27th, guests will enjoy savory sharing plates, American and international wines by the glass for $6 and specialty cocktails for $7.
West End Weeknights takes place along side of Juniper in “Juniper Way” from M Street and in the hotel’s courtyard garden. An urban oasis filled with flowering trees, annuals, a multitude of greenery, the courtyard also features a fragrant herb garden.
West End Weeknight fare is priced from $7 to $17 and includes a variety of American favorites such as Southern Fried Chicken Bites, Blue Cheese Coleslaw and Radish Root Mustard; Local Blue Mussels, Virginia White Wine, Roasted Garlic and Shallot Broth; Waldorf Salad and Cherry Wood Smoked Chicken with Candied Walnuts and American Artisan Cheese plate including Talbot Reserve (Maryland) - Semi Hard, Raw Cow’s Milk and Bijou (Vermont) - Semi Soft, Ripened Goat Cheese.
On West End Thursdays, live Caribbean Steel Drum Music will liven things up from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. Feel free to bring the dog along, as Juniper Way is pet friendly and offers a Canine Cooler for all thirsty Fidos.
