The Fairmont Waterfront, Vancouver Green Hotel Initiatives
At the Fairmont Waterfront we strive to minimize our environmental impact, while still offering our guests an outstanding experience by exceeding expectations. Over the years, the Fairmont Waterfront has continued to be a leader in sustainability and responsible tourism, and is continuously looking for ways to further reduce our impact. In 1990, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts launched our Green Hotel Partnership Program, a comprehensive approach to minimalizing our footprint on the planet.
The Fairmont Waterfront has recently announced the installation of Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations, in partnership with GE Energy Industrial Solutions. Charging stations will be available both to guests and other travellers in the area. Drivers can simply swipe a card, plug in and charge their vehicles at the stations. In addition guests driving Hybrid or Electric cars will be offered complimentary parking. (Maximum one car per room.)

Working with our culinary team are incredible partners of fisherman, farmers and more who share our passion and commitment to the environment. With everything from our organic wine producer, Rodney Strong Vineyards, to our partnership with Bovia vegetables offering 20% of our produce certified organic, guests can be assured of our strive to become even better at preserving our earth.
