Whether you are planning for a group of two or more than 300, the Fairmont Chateau Whistler can offer creative settings, menus and experiences to suit your specific needs.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Costing and Estimates:
Menus and Wine selections must be confirmed within 30 days prior to your wedding day. Once your final menu and beverage requirements have been confirmed, your Catering Sales Manager will prepare an estimate for your wedding. These amounts will be based on historical information and industry guidelines.

Dance Floor and Staging:
The Fairmont Chateau Whistler would be pleased to provide a dance floor for $500.00 and stage pieces at $40.00 each.

Deposits and Final Payment:
At the time of booking a non-refundable desposit is required to confirm space. The next financial commitment would be full prepayment, 30 days in advance once your wedding estimate has been completed with your Catering Sales Manager. The hotel accepts major Credit Cards, Certified Cheques and Bank Wire Transfers. A refund will be issued in the event of overpayment and if there is a remaning balance after the event, it will be charged to your credit card on file. Our Accounting department will then forward a detailed invoice 3 to 5 business days after your event.

Food and Beverage:
The Fairmont Chateau Whistler is the sole provider of all Food and Beverage with the exception of wedding cakes. Final guaranteed number of guests is required 72 hours prior to your function.

Music:
For any events taking place on the property of the Fairmont Chateau Whistler with an entertainment component, we are obligated to charge a SOCAN fee. SOCAN (Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada) collects this fee as a copyright licensing fee on behalf of the original artist(s). The fees collected are distributed as royalties to SOCAN members and to affiliated performing rights societies throughout the world. The fee is designated per event and based on venue capacity(ies). This fee is not revenue for the hotel.

Pictures:
If your wedding is confirmed at the hotel, you will receive complimentary access to specific areas of the hotel and hotel grounds for pictures. These areas may be confirmed with your Catering Manager.
