Ryan and his team will be your hosts for mountain adventures, skiing, snowshoeing, tubing, outdoor skating, Whistler Village tours and outdoor shows and indoor activities that are 'off-the-tourist' track and capture the true essence of Whistler.
Guided excursions are included for all registered Fairmont Chateau Whistler hotel guests.

MOUNTAIN TOURS (2 hours)
Explore North America’s largest ski resort with a true local!
Intermediate: It’s like a backstage pass to the best skiing and riding at Whistler Blackcomb. Your guide will show you easy, less congested runs from the top, longer laps to avoid lift lines and breath taking views. Families are welcome. There is a limit of 10 places available. First come, first serve.
Advanced: It’s like a backstage pass to hidden powder stashes, fabulous tree skiing, and backcountry adventures (weather and snow dependent). There is a limit of 10 places available. First come, first serve.
SNOWSHOE TOUR (from 1 to 2.5 hours)
Get away from it all with a guided snow shoe tour around Lost Lake or Chateau Whistler Golf Club. Trek along coastal rainforest to unique viewpoints of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains.

TRAIN WRECK HIKE (2.5 hours)
Enjoy a casual hike along the glacier-fed Cheakamus River to the remains of a train derailment from the 1950’s. Along the way there are several vantage points along the river with spectacular views and photo opportunities. At the wreck there are 5 train cars scattered along the forest floor with massive Coastal evergreen trees that have grown around them. Some local artists have decorated the cars with amazing graffiti work.
FIRE AND ICE
Whistler Experience Guide will escort you on a short 10min walk to a
spectacular display of ski and snowboard skill at the legendary Fire & Ice
Show in Skiers Plaza. Professional skiers and riders jump and flip 30 feet
through a blazing ring of fire accompanied by fire spinners, a DJ and a massive
fireworks display. For those who do not want to join on the walk. The Fairmont
Shuttle will pick you up at the front of the hotel.

OUTDOOR SKATING (1.5 hours)
It doesn’t get more Canadian than skating outdoors! Glide along skating paths at Whistler Olympic Plaza beneath the twinkle of lights and glowing Olympic rings or if the lakes are frozen skating will take place in the great outdoors on Lost Lake.

TUBING (2 hours)
Catch the Whistler Experience Guide shuttle over to Whistler Blackcomb’s epic snow tubing park featuring 1000 feet of snow sliding fun for all ages. FREE Shuttle to and from the Tube Park as well as Hot Chocolate!
Adults-1 hour -$22, Youth-1 hour -$20, Child-1 hour-$17
