THE NORDIC SPA
Experience The Nordic Spa at Fairmont Pacific Rim — Vancouver’s premier destination for relaxation and rejuvenation. Set against sweeping harbour and mountain vistas, this self-guided outdoor thermal spa invites you to unwind and reconnect through the restorative power of nature. Immerse yourself in a soothing hot tub, invigorate your senses with cold plunge baths, and rejuvenate in a cedar plank sauna designed for stretching and detoxifying. Afterward, wrap yourself in a plush robe and slippers, and savour a nourishing menu of seasonal, locally inspired dishes.
Nestled on the hotel’s sixth-floor pool deck, The Nordic Spa shares access with Fairmont Pacific Rim’s pool and hot tub facilities. This is a communal experience — hotel guests of all ages may be enjoying the space during your visit. Access is available to registered hotel guests or those with a spa service booking for $40 per person, for a 60-minute session.
Please note that The Nordic Spa welcomes guests aged 14 and older. Visitors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, while hotel pool deck amenities remain open to all ages. As Fairmont Spa at Fairmont Pacific Rim accepts online reservations for guests 18 and older, Local Access Guests must also meet this age requirement to enjoy the spa facilities.
To modify or reschedule your visit, kindly contact our team at least 24 hours in advance to avoid cancellation fees. Missed appointments without notice will be charged in full for the reserved time slot.
LOCALS OFFER
Guests without a hotel or spa reservation can enjoy a three-hour wellness journey combining Fairmont Spa and The Nordic Spa.
Begin at Fairmont Spa on the fifth floor, where you’ll be welcomed to unwind in the mineral bath, saunas, steam rooms, relaxation lounges, and hydrotherapy shower. Then, transition to The Nordic Spa to experience the invigorating contrast of hot and cold therapy with access to plunge baths, a cedar sauna, Jacuzzi, and poolside relaxation.
Available Monday to Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., for $170 per person (ages 18+). Includes two hours at Fairmont Spa and one hour at The Nordic Spa. Please note that The Nordic Spa is a shared experience.
FACILITIES
Refresh in cold plunge baths, unwind in a cedar-plank sauna, and relax in tranquil lounge areas while enjoying seasonal dishes and warming cocktails.
Guests have access to change rooms and showers. Hotel guests are welcome to arrive in their in-room robes and slippers; a fleece-lined robe and slippers will be provided upon arrival, and our team will store your bathrobe. Please note that secure storage for personal items is not available.
COLD PLUNGE BATHS
Our invigorating cold plunge baths offer a refreshing burst of energy that revitalizes body and mind. By immersing yourself in the cooling depths, you stimulate circulation, reduce inflammation and emerge feeling fully awakened.
CEDAR PLANK SAUNA
Step into the warmth of our cedar-plank sauna, where soothing heat and aromatic wood combine to release tension and promote deep relaxation. A perfect counterpart to your cold-plunge experience, it enhances your wellness journey and leaves you feeling restored.
