The only drawback was not being able to cool down our room. It was 26 degrees when we arrived and we couldn't figure out how to reset the thermostat....an associate from the hotel tried to help but said 'open your window' which we did but there was no cross breeze. We requested a fan but we're told none were available.

I chose the Hotel Vancouver as 'the' hotel to celebrate my 70th birthday. You treated me royally, made me feel special, from check-in and on. Your front desk welcomed me in such a personable manner, the room was lovely. A special cake greeted me later on. Drinks with family were accompanied with more birthday treats. Your staff made us all feel so at home. I can't thank you enough for making my big day a very memorable one.
The hotel is lovely and everyone we encountered was friendly and accommodating. The only disappointment was the food. Especially the room service. We ordered nachos that arrived with cheese on 2-3 chips and a couple of olives and jalapeños (which weren’t on the menu doscription) and literally 1-3. We were basically served chips on a plate. We also ordered the Kevin dessert and it was like a big melting blob. Not at all what we expected. The hotel restaurant was just okay also. We had the blackened turkey sandwich which lacked flavor as well as the French onion soup. I did expect more from such a beautiful hotel. The passport treasure hunt was fun for our kids as was the pool. Thank you
Hotel was great, and so was the room. Maintnance needed to be done on the bathtub and the carpet in the room. Also was disappointed that i couldn't get heat, as the systems were changed over to A/C. A large disappointment was the fact you don't have a hot tub. Beautiful Pool area, but disappointed that the hot tub no longer existed. Gym, was not that great as well. i would spend money on this area and fix it up .
I stayed here during a conference. I got the corner room and it was excellent. Very happy with the friendly staff and quick service. The room, the lobby and hallway were always clean, anything that I requested extra (complimentary) was serviced really fast.
I loved the complementary room upgrade. Thank you so much, the room was stunning and so comfortable.
checking in took 25 minutes... there was only one person at the front desk, which was pretty busy. The room was nice. I forgot my computer charger in my room and called the hotel once I got back home. the voicemailbox for lost and found was full and I had to call 4 times just to talk to someone. In the end, a colleague of mine was able to go pick up my charger at the front desk.
everything about the room was perfect
beautiful room and gym facility
