Overall satisfied with services provided. The staff were friendly and helpful. There are 2 improvement I would like to suggest : 1) the breakfast is great and lot of variety. But the salad bar needs more veggies (there were only lectures, and limited dressings, but no other veggies ) 2) because of early departure, my company requested a breakfast box for me for one day during my stay. The hotel charged this breakfast box as room service. During checking out, I noticed this additional charge and questioned the front desk staff. She replied politely that this was correct and the breakfast box was indeed room service charge. I told her that I did not eat breakfast that morning, and it was reasonable to request for a breakfast box instead. Also, this is a common practice in all hotel in Asia. After challenging this staff and requested to talk to her Manager, she politely replied that she would remove this amount from my bill. However, this experience already ruined my image of Fairmont Jakarta. You (management) should look around and revise your policy to be at least competitive to your competitors. Thanks !

The service is amazing, I noticed a difference from this stay compared to my previous stays. Although I had to wheel in my luggages to the lobby due to the insufficient staff, the concierge staff from the lobby took my luggage and handled my luggages quickly. Aside from this small problem, the check in staff are very nice and attentive to us, the housekeeping did an amazing job in cleaning the room, and the staff at the lobby are very professional and attentive to our group. Our shower head was leaking, but it was fixed by the hotel quickly. There are usually some problem with our room such as no cold water on the sink, static tv, and such but they always fix it after I reported it. I wish that the hotel would spend more time to check the room in the future. But since I really like the hotel’s location and service, I always stay at the hotel reccuringly despite these problems.
