I am very happy with the service starting from check in, room conditions, the concierge and also from the spectrum staffs. I have big argument with sales guy Chasan that so unprofessional to handle my case. He is very rude, argumentative, accusing me of lying of what service I normally get from my previous stay . He needs a lot of training on how to work in service industry especially good business hotel like Fairmont . I called Andy Sudarso and told him about this and thanks to Andy he connected me directly to Gerry( director of sales) and Gerry solved my problem immediately. I think you should consider to remove Chasan from his sales job. He is not qualified, arrogant and with his bad attitude he will chase the customer away.
I always enjoy staying in Fairmont because of their service is exceptional.
It is my first experience staying in Fairmont Jakarta. Only one word that I can say: Perfect.

I have been staying at Fairmont Jakarta for many years. Fairmont is a favorite place because of its personalized service, excellent housekeeping and amenities, including in the room, and good breakfast. I am surprised at the drop in standards in my recent visit. Staff seemed harried, and not as responsive. I was shocked that the rooms we were given had minimal bottles of water provided (I had to request for more), and the minibar was empty. When I asked why the minibar was empty when there was a list of items in the minibar, I was told that this is a new policy and that a request needed to be made for the minibar to be stocked. Is tis a new policy? Why have this policy yet keep a list of items in the minibar in the room? Likewise, the quality of the buffet breakfast seems to have dropped. Fairmont should try to keep standards up as it would be sad to see a lovely hotel lose its loyal customers.

Really enjoy and love stayed here. Got a warm welcome and got a room upgrade! All the staffs are nice dan helpful. And got easy access to the Plaza Senayan. Big thanks to Mrs Aida who helped us!
I have stayed there several times in the past and it has become my regular lodging when I visit Jakarta. Facilities are generally excellent. Except for the water pressure in the showers. However, there will always be a little service issue with every stay. This time, I used Jakarta as a starting point for travel to Singapore and other parts of Indonesia. And every time I returned to Jakarta, I stayed at Fairmont. I asked the lady at the front desk on my first stay to please keep two bottles of sparkling water in the minibar for my next stay. This is because I always drink sparkling water, which is difficult to obtain in Indonesia. In addition, Fairmont may or may not have drinks in the minibar. The woman at the front desk responded with a note saying, "I will be sure to let them know. However, the minibar was empty on my next stay. I had no choice but to ask for sparkling water from room service, but room temperature sparkling water was delivered. I asked the man who carried them for me, "Do you have any cold ones? When I told him that I would be happy to have it chilled at the restaurant, he said, "I'll look for it.” But he never showed up again. I also checked my suitcase with the same lady during my first stay. She said "I will bring it to your room the next time you stay", but it ended up staying at the concierge desk. You may feel that these are all very minor details, but if you can't do them, please tell me you can't do them. I would expect you to promise me. This happens every time. In the past, we had a case where our checked luggage went missing (in the end, it had already been taken to our room, but it took us a while to find out). I think it may be a lack of communication between staff members. As much as I think the hotel has a great location and facilities, I think it would be a better hotel if they could improve your service.
Yes. It’s all about the service. Too many thing a went wrong for a 5 star experience. First, at check in I found out that my reservation was not prepaid yet I relieved a confirmation from Accord that it was not because Jakarta doesn’t work that way and the money is refunded and then charged again when you get there. Confusing. Then my shower had only tepid water, so I had to get that fixed. Ants I. The bathroom sink. Had to get the exterminator in. Finally, ordered room service. Szechuan chicken made with chicken breast is what I ordered from the menu. The chicken that was delivered was chicken thigh. Called for it to be changed which they acknowledged was wrong because the chef forgot. Anyone the dish was horrible. As I said not really a 5 star experience and very little remorse for the things they did get wrong.
