    You are now in Lake Louise, 141 miles (228 km) from Jasper
    Leaving Lake Louise, exit onto Hwy 93. Keep your eyes open, because the sign for Hwy 93 is easy to miss. Drive for 228 km - get your camera ready!
    You are now entering Jasper. At the lights, turn right and follow the signs
    The exit for The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge is after the town site on your right
    You'll cross a black steel bridge and follow the Old Lodge Road

we upgraded to a Jr suite with a fireplace and it was perfect in the mornings when it was still a bit chilly. really enjoyed the heated pool. The food service to the room was excellent, very fast and efficient. Everything we ordered was excellent.

Timeless Mountain Resort

From the winding entry and initial glimpses of Mildred Lake and Lac Beauvert to the majestic views of the Canadian Rocky Mountains, the Jasper Park Lodge (JPL) is a resort with picturesque landscapes everywhere you look with the added excitement of walking with various habituated mammals (Elk, Deer and the odd Moose and Fox) and of course, the resident geese, ducks and varoius other water fowl not to mention numerous other bird species. The experience is supplemented by a core service team that is often international and always seem to be well trained and commited to the JPL experince. During our last stay a quick shout out to the Front Office Manager Karla J. for recognizing our various repeat trips to the JPL. Also, for Paddy on the Bell Desk for making sure we had everything that we needed and even the things that we forgot we needed. Well done to the JPL team.

A great weekend get away

We felt that the staff was helpful and made our experience luxurious. We came for the amenities and were not disappointed. Staff support to needs like ice, fire wood, and room help were great. Well recommended when your biggest challenge is only that our room keys stopped working near check out time and when going to the check in desk to get them fixed, they still did not work. For a rustic experience we were well satisfied.

The location is beautiful and the staff were great, but I think the price is too much for what you receive - I had to drive around for about 15 minutes trying to locate a parking spot - we were charged a $50.00 Resort Experience Fee which apparently includes parking -I do not see the value in that fee..

Perfection of everything
