Being disable I noticed only 2 disabled parking spots. It was until 2 weeks I had to ask about why there no other disable parking and informed me valet is free with disabled placards. Almost $900 a night and still charged for breakfast. Great room

We had a wonderful experience during our stay. The workers were awesome! The pool attendants/pool runners at the pool was superb. Always making sure we were having a great time and got what we needed as far as foods and drinks. Although we wished there was a slide at the Keiki pool for little Keikis to have a little independency and enjoyment rather than going on the bigger slide with someone and going into the bigger pool. Maybe more pool activities for little Keikis. Overall our experience was amazing!

My family of 4 all adults stayed 8 nights at Fairmont Kea Lani to celebrate my Dad's 60th Birthday. The property and newly renovated suites were exactly as pictured and beautiful. We enjoyed our stay overall, but felt there were a number times where a lack of attention to detail and personal touch did limit our overall experience from a 10 to 8. Could Be Improved: -When we checked in we came to find out during various times in our stay a couple of amenities or services were not shared with us. These include not being told about nightly turndown service and a shuttle service to local restaurants and shops. I do not belive these are items that were described in their app where they describe services. While not large in scale this an example at the start of our experience some of the misses on attention to detail. -Upon check in we left our luggage to be delivered by the bellhop. When we checked in there did not appear to be a long line, but it took the team over 2 hours to deliver our bags. This was frustrating as we left our bags with swimsuits with them so we could not fully experience the pool or ocean until we got our bags. If this is the typical length of time it takes to deliver bags, it would be nice for the bellhop to make guests aware so they can plan accordingly. -Acknowledgment of special occasions, while I understand given your location your resort has a number of guests that are celebrating special occasions. I believe when we reserved the room we made note of celebrating a milestone birthday, in many other 5 star hotels we have stayed at there would be some acknowledgment of the special occasion. In comparison on the portion of our trip in Oahu we were surprised when our hotel provided a $100 bottle of champagne and hand written note. The Oahu hotel provided the personal touch we come to expect with 5 star service. Additionally, when we reached out to Royal Services Text Feature you have we asked what special items we could buy to celebrate and were provided a gift list. This was helpful information to have, but the next day when we were Instagram we Saw a story where you highlighted that custom birthday cakes could be requested. Had Royal Services made us aware of this service we gladly would have paid for that service. -Hallway Cleanup: This was another spot where attention to detail was lacking, overall your hotel common spaces, restaurants, and rooms were clean. My family stayed in the K section of the hotel, in this section there were not common area trash cans like many other sections of the hotel. This led to guests having to leave trash from food delivery and other instances in the hallway. This is a practice that I would say is typical, what felt less typical is that this trash would be in the hallway until later in the afternoon if left there overnight. Additionally, we found that some glassware and trash were left near the water bottle refill station, we made the front desk aware of this, but the same items were untouched for a few days. While all the above are relatively small in scale, they started to add up on our stay. If we were at a Hampton Inn we would not have brought these items. When we are staying at a 5 star hotel the attention detail and some of these misses are not something we expected. I will give the Fairmont credit as we mentioned a few of these items, we did speak to a manager who heard our feedback and worked to resolve what she could. Things we Loved: -Pool Staff and Tsunami Fries: The pool staff kept our drinks flowing and were very friendly. Our favorite pool snack were the Tsunami Fries. -Complimentary Outrigger Ride: We reserved our Outrigger time slot a month prior to the trip. It was a highlight both of our guides were great. My sister loved getting in the water with one of the guides where he pointed out the unique sea urchins. As we snorkled the rest our trip we saw these type of urchins. -Wailea Beach Path: It was nice to be able to walk the path to see the different resorts and beaches along the path. From the path we saw sea turtles in a couple of the rocky inlets. -Local Artisan Market hosted at Resort: One of the days the resort hosted loc artisans that guests could buy their goods from. Our whole family got a number fun products that were unique and we did not see other places we went shopping outside of the resort.
