Booked for work, for a good downtown location and it was good for that. I have given my ratings on my overall stay as, aside from my experience Friday night, your staff and hotel were very good
Generally, good experience. Some hiccups over the two days: Request was to be fairly close to the elevator due to mobility issue. Clerk didn't seem experienced in this regard. (Have someone do the walk from the elevator to my room.) Also when booking, I was given a choice of view - either courtyard or a city view. What I got was a roof view. Promised a copy of what was available for room service, but it never arrived. Surely I'm not the only one who visits your lovely hotel who prefers not to use the electronic version. The above quibbles aside, I had a wonderful stay and will return. Cheers, Sandra
Wonderful time get together with long time friends from different time zones, Thailand, Nee Jersey, Washington and Ontario. Enjoy endless Fairmont gold services. Beautifully decorated rooms and suites. Especially presidential suite, lot of room to accommodate a group of nine. Also delicious foods and drinks including coffee time.
Stayed with my 90 year old mother last week. When I booked I asked for an accessible room with roll in shower. It was a walk in shower, small, no safety grab bars. Toilet was across the hall with no way to keep door open. Door stop wouldn’t work, I had to use my bag. The food at Fairmonts across the world lacks in my opinion. Overpriced for what you get. Drinks in the bar were nice. Wanted a salad from the Terrasse in the lounge and they wouldn’t accommodate it, which was not very customer service based.

Was not impressed with the A/C room would not drop below 23 Celsius. Very hot to sleep in..
