A+ service from the moment we arrived, from the valet driver, the gold level staff etc. Will recommend.
Easy and quick check in. The dog that wondered the lobby hall brought joy to my heart. Expected a bit more subtle touches, such as robes in the room, but nonetheless a good stay.
We were impressed with the history of the hotel however it was very over priced compared to the room quality. Rooms were small and dated. Parking was almost triple what most hotel charge as well.
I cannot talk enough about what a fantastic experience it was staying at the Chateau Laurier. The staff are very friendly and always trying to see if they can help. We didn’t like the first room we got and they upgraded us to the next category with one of the best views I’ve ever had! And the ultimate luxury was the valet parking where you simply press a link on your phone and your car is brought in less than 10 minutes. I was very sad to leave and can’t wait to be back to any Fairmont hotel. I don’t even remember when or where I last had such a wonderful experience!

All staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and very comfortable.
Came to town for a quick visit and enjoyed our proximity to the Market, Mall, and Elgin Street. Beds were comfortable and enjoyed the updated bathroom. Sound proofing could be better as we were woken up a couple times by people being loud in the hallway.
The building is beautiful, and the surrounding area is wonderful. That being said the towels were like using straw, the house coats were so crusty I would prefer not to be given them, the paint on the walls had all kinds of mistakes, the tables in the lounge were wobbly, there was graffiti in the stairwell and there were strangely places LED lights that were too bright and pointless in the main lobby. While the people (hearts) were helpful, the general feeling of the building was that nobody cared about the little things. This is bothersome for a $400/n room.

1>The room was terrible. Too much furniture in the room, and misplaced to where it was almost impossible to walk around the bed. 2>Sat at the lobby bar at 8:00 in the evening to have a few drinks, and was told that it would take 1 1/2 hours to be served by the hostess, so we should leave. Unbelievable!

Overall experience was more than satisfactory but there were a few issues that we wanted to address: the first one was the housekeeping. There was a trash in a bin (someone must have ate McDonals?) when we first entered the room. We addressed this to the front desk. The second one is the cleanliness/housekeeping. In our shower, there were so much mold that we felt we were in a motel not at a hotel. And shower gel was empty as well. We stayed 2 nights but it was never filled. Unfortunately for the price we paid for the suite, we felt cheated a little. The room was beautiful but those small things kept creeping up during our stay.
