Very accomodating, great location and friendly staff.
We were very satisfied with everything, from your staff, the room the beauty of the hotel and the quality of your food, the only complaint I have is that on Friday evening we had supper in the Wilfred Laurier restaurant, my wife and I ordered wine and our meals, the wine was brought to our table and a little while later our meals were served, my wife had the salmon plate and I had a seafood casserole in sauce, we started eating and I noticed there was no bread on the table to dip in the sauce, I asked the waiter to bring me some bread which he did, both meals were excellent, upon finishing our meals I asked for the bill, looking it over I see a charge of $16.00 for bread (4 slices) I asked the waiter why a charge for bread and that this was the first time in my life irregardless of where I traveled hat bread wasn't brought to the table and never ever charged, the least he should have done was tell me there would be a charge, this is the only complaint I have.
The room was small, but to be expected in an old building. It was tastefully decorated. The hotel staff were professional yet friendly. The room didn’t have an alarm clock, which seemed odd and I missed having one.

Well-appointed and spacious suite. Feather pillows should be in our room, but we had to request them. Lounge is always appreciated. Service was very good.
Fine. But I am annoyed I had to pay for WIFI as it was not included with the room

The Chateau is beautiful, a classic hotel. But service levels have certainly declined. Check-in was inconsistent, I was told my bed preference was not guaranteed even though clearly booked. The room was spacious but had flies. The restaurant Zoe's has excruciatingly slow service. I recognize many hospitality venues are struggling with staffing shortages. The fries with the steak were horrid, perhaps old oil or double fried. The concierge, Samuel, was tremendously helpful. Overall, just a disappointing experience.
I was very happy with the room upgraded and the washroom was bigger and nice. Thank you for the upgrade.
