We stayed four nights at the Fairmont Hotel MacDonald and we had a wonderful time. I loved using the gym every morning. From weights to the hot tub and pool to the treadmills to the sauna and steam room, the amenities were amazing with wonderful service. For some reason, the coffee made my day after my workout. To top it off the staff were very friendly and provided us with a top notch experience. The food was good as we enjoyed alot of in-room dining and that's really where to service shined. We barely left our room unless we were attending events in the city as it was Junos weekend. We did dine in the restaurant on the final morning before our flight and even the service there was very friendly and wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay. Finally, the view of the river and the city of Edmonton was beautiful. I could go on and on, but we had an amazing experience despite a minor error with our bill. That didn't even matter as we truly were impressed. We will be back.

As always the customer service at this hotel is second to none. Every single employee I encountered went the extra mile to make sure I had everything I needed and wanted. Very comfortable stay. Having the lounge and restaurants available made my trip that much easier. I was able to get vegan meals at both. Can't wait to get the chance to go back!

Stayed 2 nights and wanted for nothing. Staff was hospitable and very helpful. Great views for an Edmonton hotel.

The hotel staff were great, the restaurant meals were delicious and service terrific. The room I stayed in, 622 if I recall correctly, had very aged and worn-out towels, a rip in the carpet near the desk, a rip in one of the pillow cases and a thick layer of dust on the arm supporting the magnifying mirror. Me noticing even one of those things I think Accor would want to know about and I feel doesn't well reflect the Fairmont brand. So there you go.
Most of the staff were wonderful.
