Fairmont Spa Offers

The experiences of the Fairmont Spa takes at least one hour. We want you to choose the time you need to find your energy. Access to the spa relaxation areas is offered as a courtesy service with most of the spa services, except for the beauty salon services. Access to the spa relaxation areas throughout the day for hotel guests.

Spa experience
Fairmont Spa experiences last at least an hour. We want you to take the time you need to find your energy. Spa access to our relaxation areas is complimentary with the purchase of most spa services, excluding Salon services. Daily spa access to our relaxation area without the purchase of a spa treatment is US$79 for hotel guests.

Spa Environment

Fairmont Spa is an adult sanctuary and all guests must be 18 years of age or older.

Salon services are offered for guests aged 15 or under.
For the safety of our teen guests, spa service for guests aged 5 to 17 is at the discretion of the management after a “Health History and Consent Form” is completed by a parent or guardian. A parent or guardian must be present for the full duration of the services and minors must be properly attired at all times. Without exception, the spa's personnel cannot supervise minors. Please note that minors (of any age) are not allowed in the wet areas, including saunas, steam rooms, or relaxation areas.

In order to achieve maximum relaxation, cell phones and other electronic devices are not permitted. If you wish to receive messages during your time with us, please let our staff know and we’ll be happy to assist you.

Spa Arrival and Etiquette

We recommend that you arrive 45 minutes before your first scheduled appointment. This gives you time to familiarize yourself with the facilities and relax before your treatments. Please note, all treatments end on time, regardless of start time. Please leave jewelry and valuables in your room´s safety box or in hotel´s safety deposit box.

Health Matters

Please inform us of any health conditions at the time of booking (e.g., high blood pressure, heart condition, allergies, pregnancy). Consumption of alcohol before, during or directly after spa treatments is not recommended. You will also be asked to complete a medical-history form upon arrival, so we can better customize your experience to your needs.

Spa Attire

You will receive a robe and sandals to wear during your time at the spa, and a locker for your personal belongings. Our therapists are highly trained in draping procedures to ensure your complete privacy; however, for your comfort, undergarments may be worn during treatments. Swimsuits are required in all public areas of the spa.

Spa Experience Coordinators

Whether in the spa or by phone, all of our Spa Experience Coordinators are available to assist you in customizing your own personal experience — from planning your treatments to answering your questions to addressing any concerns.

Cancellation Policy

If you must reschedule or cancel any spa appointment, please notify the spa at least four hours in advance to avoid being charged for the service. Cancellation of a package requires at least 24 hours’ notice. Missed appointments without proper notice are subject to a 100% charge for reserved services.

Fairmont Spa Fitness

Facilities at the fully equipped Fairmont Fitness Center at Mayakoba include:
Electronic cardiovascular equipment
An aerobic floor and media wall
Free weights and variable resistance machines
Gym instructors are available to assist guests train.

Fitness center access

Fitness Center access is included in our resort experience fee. Minimum age to use of our spa facilities is 18 and 15 for the fitness center.

Please note:
Guests 16-17 must provide a signed authorization from their parents to access the Fitness Center
Teens aged 15 must provide a signed waiver from their parents, and must be accompanied by a parent while at the Fitness Center.
