Shopping in the Famous “Golden Circle”
The boutiques on the Golden Circle (avenue Monte-Carlo, avenue des Beaux-Arts, Allées Lumières) and in the "Allées Lumières" shopping mall carry some of the most famous names in fashion and present the latest creations by: Hermès, Céline, Christian Dior, Saint Laurent Rive Gauche, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Chanel, and Prada.

Fitness & All Year-Round Heated Pool
The Fairmont Monte Carlo is equipped with a state-of-the-art Fitness Centre and outdoor pool located on the rooftop.

The Fitness Centre has been renovated and refurbished with top-of-the-line TECHNOGYM equipment from North America. Our guests can benefit from a full routine on our free weight machines under the supervision of qualified trainers. A wide variety of classes are also available on a daily basis. Classes include stretching, step, body sculpting, gym tonic and yoga.

The pool connected to the Fitness Centre stays open year-round and the fresh water pool is heated to 28°C (78°F). Swimming lessons are available upon request. In addition, a sauna and steam room is at our guest's disposal. For those wishing to relax, the swimming pool area with its solarium and bar remains the ideal spot.

Spa
Inspired by the energy and magic of Monte Carlo, and drenched in the amazing colors of Monaco, the spa is complete with eight generously-sized treatment rooms and a manicure/pedicure nail spa all awash in the deepest of sea greens and aquamarine to the coolest of sapphire and cyan.

Jimmy’z is the meeting place of the international jet-set. Open from May to September every evening from 11pm and from Wednesday to Sunday for the rest of the year. This is the premier nightclub in Monte Carlo.

Activities around the Principality of Monaco

Visit of the Principality of Monaco
City tour and panoramas. The old town on “the rock”, the Prince’s Palace and the changing of the guard (11.55 a.m.). The Cathedral and the Princess Grace Memorial, Grand Prix Circuit, the heart of the Principality, Monte-Carlo, named after Prince Charles III created this part of the town, with its world famous Casino, hotels and the Monte Carlo Golden Square. After a little walk through the gardens of the casino, you will visit this beautiful building home to the casino itself and to the Opera house.

Eze Village and La Turbie
Perched on top of a cliff, this jewel of medieval architecture offers enchanting panoramas of the Riviera. Wander in the narrow streets of the village and discover the little cafés and craft shops. Before leaving Eze Village, you will have the possibility to make a little stop at Fragonard or Galimard, the famous perfume factories of Grasse that also have shops in Eze Village. On the way to Monaco, you will drive up to La Turbie, which is right above the Principality and offers extraordinary sights of the coast.

Villefranche, Beaulieu-sur-mer, St Jean Cap Ferrat
Villefranche can be reached driving through the beautiful “Basse Corniche” (along the coast); visit the superb citadel of Villefranche bathed by the crystal clear water of its bay. 

Then proceed to Beaulieu-sur-mer with a visit of the Villa Kérylos, a seaside Palazzo, luxurious reconstruction of an Ancient Greek Villa and to Saint Jean Cap Ferrat with a visit of the Villa Ephrussi, which used to be the private home of Baroness De Rothschild, which now houses unique collections of art and ancient furniture. The 7 themed gardens of the villas are simply magnificent (coffee / tea and cake often served).

Grasse and St Paul de Vence
St Paul de Vence is definitely one of the most charming places on the French Riviera. It is a well-known typical medieval village made famous by actors and artists living there.

Driving through the countryside to the capital of the perfume, Grasse, and enjoy the guided tour of the perfume factory.

San Remo and Ventimiglia
Ventimiglia, the bordering town of the Italian Riviera, is famous for its market. Driving along the coast on the Aurelia Avenue, at only 20 Km from the French Riviera is San Remo, the Italian town renowned for its boutiques and market.

Activities in Nice

Matisse Museum
This museum is the personal collection of the great Fauvist painter who lived in Nice from 1917 until his death in 1954. There are works from all periods of Matisse’s life: from the first paintings made in 1890 to the famous gouache cutouts: 236 drawings, 218 engravings and the complete presentation of the books illustrated by the artist. Temporary exhibitions (Closed Tuesday and some holidays).

Half day cruise
