We would stay there again!
We loved the hotel. Celebrated our anniversary (23rd floor). We are long time Bay Area residents that moved away, but visit frequently. We were awakened several times between midnight and 2 am by loud, obnoxious groups of people returning to their rooms. Our neighbor opened door and screamed at them to "BE QUIET", a loud argument pursued. Also we were disappointed to have to stand at the Tonga Room bar for a drink...why did you remove the chairs???
From the time we arrived, valet parking, check in, room accomodation, room service, view, dinner, entertainment at the Tonga Room, to our check out, my wife, Delia spent her 73rd birthday a happy and memorable one. The band announced her name and wished her with a Happy Birthday song. We plan to stay again same time next year. Joan, who assisted me in allowing us to check in early, I owe her much gratitude for her serving us. Christian, at the reservation counter, was incredible, our check in/check out was incredibly patient with my wife. We wouldn't want to stay at any other hotel next year!! Please allow us to reserve the same room. Room 1007, the view was spectacular. I believe that was the room number. I apologize for not being to reply to you sooner, I've been going through medical issues. Thank you for understanding.
Our room overlooked the rooftop garden and it was beautiful! It was perfectly located and we enjoyed exploring the property and surrounding area. I would absolutely stay here again.
Arrived for a wedding in the Hotel, and were able to enjoy the festivities and never leave the Hotel unless we wanted.
From valet to front desk to those who serviced our room, our favorite part of our stay at Fairmont was the sheer quantity and quality of kindness, helpfulness, and hospitality of every worker we came in contact with. We were in SF for a short stay celebrating our engagement and were blown away by the room (free upgrade upon arrival) and the overall charm and inviting atmosphere of every space in the hotel. I could not compliment any particular worker as more outstanding than the next because each one went above and beyond to answer our questions, greet us with warmth and welcoming, and provide us with world class service. For example, at one point I ran into someone from the kitchen (I think) as I was taking one of the stairwells from the second floor to the main floor and even though he was clearly busy with other tasks, he took the time to show me the way to the main lobby. We loved staying in a place that takes pride in each guest experience. We will be recommending Fairmont to family and friends for years to come and look forward to returning.
Great services, all employees were friendly and helpful
Room was very good, but there was NO water. When I requested water, it took more than 45 minutes, after I called twice, before water was delivered. During my three day stay, not even once my bed was turned in the evening, or window covers was shut/closed.
