The hotel was very nice. Not having coffee or light snacks between lunch and dinner is unfortunate even though coffee was in the room. The suite was also lovely but I chose the more expensive room for the patio area. Unfortunately, there were several flying bugs that were in the patio area even after the house team came a sprayed the patio. As a result, we were unable to enjoy the patio during the day and at night
A great experience I would definitely stay there again I like that location it’s out all the mess and homelessness that Newsom allowed in when he was mayor, the most beautiful city in the world and he’s destroyed it as well as California cheers

We booked this hotel and room for the view, and that didn't disappoint. The panoramic views of the bay were breath taking. A few issues with our room - our bathroom door didn't close and the water doesn't get as hot as you would expect. There wasn't room to unpack our personal belongings, so be prepared to stay in your suitcase and have the furniture used to house mini-bar and items for sale, not for your use. The hotel is beautiful, but needs some touch ups and a refresh, not only in the main shared spaces but the rooms as well. Staff at check in were great but had a disappointing experience in the lounge. The gym is well equipped with lots of great options to work out. Overall, the view in the hotel was something we were glad to experience, but wouldn't be going back due to the issues with our including lack of thought on useful design, stained carpet, and maintenance that is required considering the price of the hotel. As well, we were charged someone else's in room dining and it was processed on our card and to have it refunded due to the currency exchange and credit card fees, we had to cover part of that charge. It was a small amount but being the very last touch point with the hotel didn't help.
This was my first time staying at the Fairmont in SF. I can't think of anything that could have improved my two night visit. Everyone, including the car valets, housekeepers, restaurant staff, and reception area staff were all friendly and helpful. I appreciated being given several bottles of water at check in. The bed was very comfortable. And, it was incredibly quiet in my room. I didn't hear the housekeeping staff or other guests in the hallways. I would definitely consider the Fairmont SF again.

We had an amazing experience - the employee customer service was excellent, and the room views were absolutely beautiful.
Checking in and Checking out stuff messed up my credit cards. We ended up with charges on 2 two credit cards. I feel frustrated because I particular requested to charge on one credit card. Information- we asked front desk about restaurants near by and the staff gave us inaccurate information, not very helpful.

I felt completely safe! The staff is amazing, very clean, and the food is amazing!
Our first time at the hotel. Loved the room except for the counter space in the bathroom. The bathroom itself was so large but needs to be redesigned with more counter around the sink and hooks for hanging wet towels. Also, the Tanga room was not open Monday or Tuesday—wish we could have had drinks outside on the terrace! The downstairs bar was fine… The staff was friendly and hotel clean and well appointed!
