We have been to Fairmont locations all over the world, yet this was the worst experience we have ever had at the Fairmont. During our stay, only one elevator worked. During the time that we checked out (11/20/23 @ 10:50AM), that one elevator that was working broke as well. After 30 minutes and multiple calls to the front desk, they told us to take the stairs or the service elevator. We waited for the service elevator for another 30 minutes and it did not come. Left with no other option, we had to take eight flights of stairs down with our luggage. This was especially difficult, because my wife is scheduled for knee replacement surgery in the next month. The room that we stayed in was also outdated, given the price that we paid.

From the moment I walked in I had the best experience at the hotel. Employees in every part of the hotel were friendly, professional and super helpful. The food in the Lobby restaurant and fig tree was delicious and service was super!! Rooms are clean and comfortable & every part of the hotel was spotless at all times
It’s all in my yelp review. Between the protestors and my hijacked credit card, I hope this place goes out of business

How can you justify not fixing your service and one of you guest elevators for over a year? Everybody has to wait for a single lift? At the rates you charge? Ridiculous
Couldn’t have experienced better service, friendliness, accommodations, extremely satisfied.
Awful and stressful! I was staying in town for my son's wedding. We had two connecting suites in level one. Striking angry employees yelling into the lobby and various entrances and sides from 7am-7pm, 8 steel drums, picketers with megaphones, extremely understaffed, could not get a towel for over an hour. No trash removal and housekeeping was sparse and unavailable. No senior staff for guests. Restaurants in the hotel were closed. Car service extremely limited, driver called out, missed son's wedding rehearsal due to picketers blocking entrance and under staffing. Could not sleep in the mornings due to the obnoxious very loud noise Could not walk out of the hotel without strikers yelling in my face. Not fair that Fairmont guests need to pay (loss of sleep, stress and anxiety, discomfort, harassment when picketers yelled) for their disgruntaled employees. Ongoing steike was not disclosed prior.
From the time we arrived the staff was very thoughtful to our needs. Everything about our stay was wonderful.
