Resort Updates

Contemporary Enhancements Continue at Scottsdale’s Most Iconic Five Diamond Resort
Fresh off the completion of the 2016’s Sunset Beach expansion project, which included the development of 102 new luxurious guest rooms, as well as the addition of the sixth and largest pool and Western-themed event venue Copper Canyon, the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess continues to transcend expectations in its commitment to excellence with the next phase of resort enhancements fit for the modern luxury traveler.
Fairmont Gold Lounge Pre-Renovation

Designing a Spectacularly Upgraded Fairmont Gold Experience

Refined and sophisticated, the Princess’ complete Fairmont Gold inventory—including 69 guest rooms and suites and exclusive private lounge—was updated.

Paralleling the upscale residential upgrades of recent Sunset Beach and Casitas renovations, the Fairmont Gold enhancements will feature a modern bohemian chic vibe, with gracefully tailored décor, a light, refreshing color palette and refined authentically local Southwestern touches.

Nestled on the southeast corner of the resort, Fairmont Gold offers guests an exclusive lounge serving breakfast daily and hors d’oeuvres nightly along with a private concierge offering a personal level of service and recognition that will help you make the most of every moment in Scottsdale.

McDowell Patio

The Princess Continues to Elevate its Meeting Venues

In the summer of 2017, the resort expanded and renovated its Fairmont Gold Meeting Center, re-designing to provide a unique, private venue for small premier meetings. Perfect for a small executive conference or social event, the space equips groups with exclusivity and modern new facilities while maintaining a strong sense of place in the desert. The newly renovated event space is 2,600 sq. ft. A new breakout room expansion of 1,000 sq. ft. adjoins the main meeting room. Floor-to-ceiling glass sliding Arcadia bi-fold doors (with privacy blinds) are a key feature of the design and opened up the space to a 6,000 sq. ft. patio overlooking the beauty of TPC Scottsdale’s Stadium Course with the majestic McDowell Mountains serving as the backdrop. Groups of 100 people or less can be pampered in our new Fairmont Gold guest rooms while convening in the newly renovated adjacent Fairmont Gold Meeting Center.

Centrally located in the heart of the resort, the 2,000 sq. ft. Ironwood Meeting Room provides another private event venue. Renovated with a new polished desert vibe, this room also features a modern sliding glass wall opening the space to Arizona’s beautiful climate with views of the resort’s pools and lush lagoon. Ironwood Meeting Room is located adjacent to Ironwood American Kitchen restaurant, providing the opportunity to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner in the restaurant’s private dining space next door.
