We had a wonderful relaxing stay. We were so pleased with the staff, room and food. We left the hotel early morning and we’re very impressed with the breakfast the staff packed for us to eat prior to our early flight. The pool, spa and gym were also beautiful. Thanks Fairmont.
As expected with an Accor hotel, all staff were friendly, very helpful, and efficient. Our room, a Signature Gold King Suite was superb - large and very comfortable. One problem though was that the slope of the floor in the shower recess was wrong, so that water ran onto the bathroom floor. The housekeeper was aware of this and kindly provided an extra mat to hold the water back. Not a problem, but just not expected in such a hotel. What was disappointing however was that despite our booking saying "Access Fairmont Gold Lounge for breakfast, evening drinks & canapes", on arrival we found we had to pay for that. I understand that Fairmont does not automatically provide free loung access to Platinum members (which I am), but when booking a suite that states has lounge access, we should be able to assume that there is not an extra charge for that access. We had already advanced an extra $A100 for extras when checking in online, and this was used, to buy access, but if Fairmont is going to charge Signature Gold King Suite occupants for lounge access, then that should be plainly stated in the booking, rather than insinuating that access is included (as it is in other Accor hotels we have stayed in). This aspect has left us disappointed with our stay, and on our return through Singapore we will stay at our usual Grand Mercure Roxy, where rooms on the executive level have free access to the lounge.
From check-in, the treatment was spectacular. Very attentive staff. Fantastic breakfast and hotel very close to 2 metro lines. Room with a fantastic view.

Our first visit to Singapore was made special by the staff, comfort and location of your great hotel. We arrived early from a cruise ship and were allowed to check in to our room immediately. The room was very comfortable, with a good view. The breakfast buffet in Prego was outstanding. Your concierge made two reservations for us and was helpful during our stay. Will definitely stay there again when we return to Singapore. Keep up the good work!

We had a fantastic time. The man who greeted us at breakfast was so cheerful and made our day. Everyone was really helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The rooms were absolutely amazing. It was lovely to arrive to the towel arrangement. It was very special
Had a water problem, it was very white like milk. Tried to taste it a bit taste like dry chemical. Not sure what was that. But definitely dangerous to drink. Went to the concierge, then only said will send an engineer to my room to check. No appology, No follow up report explaining whats happening, just put bottled water since they couldnt fix it without any communication. Feels like 3 stars hotel service standard or even worse
First stay, very welcoming Front of house staff. Room - deluxe King was excellent and clean. All staff I came across: front desk, the concierge, housekeeping and the nice chap welcoming you on the ground floor were excellent. Your staff are you best asset. Location was great as well
The staff were so helpful and accommodating. Ace at check in was wonderful and the lovely happy gentleman that greeted staff outside Prego restaurant for breakfast each morning was beautiful, what a lovely warm man and a wonderful way to start the day with such a kind greeting. All the staff were fantastic and service from ordering taxis to getting a drink at the pool bar wonderful. The beds were also extremally comfortable and the view and room itself was perfect! My only tiny criticism is that there are no power points in the bathroom and I could not blow dry my hair! I was very confused by this as was my sister in another room who rang reception to find out where a plug was and was told there were none for safety reasons?. I had to take the hair dryer, unplugged the coffee machine in the bar and attempted to blow dry my hair in the tiny brown coloured mirror that sits above the bar........it was terrible as I could not see anything! I tried sticking a 5 cm magnifying mirror I had brought on the balcony window and blow dry my hair next to the bed but of course I could not see anything. There was a mirror in the hall near the closets but again no electrical plug point. For a wonderful 5 star hotel a women should be able to blow dry her hair in a bathroom or at least near a mirror somewhere in the room. I have never come across this situation in a hotel before. Apart from that everything else was perfect. thankyou
