Accommodations for Guests with Disabilities

There are 10 rooms at the resort which are specially adapted for guests with disabilities and comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act. The Housekeeping Department can also provide raised toilet seats, shower benches and/or step stools upon request. Wheel chair and golf cart transportation is also available for guests who may require assistance moving about the resort.

Bell Staff

Bellmen are located in the Main Lobby of the hotel. They will be happy to assist you with porterage and luggage storage.

The Concierge are available daily in the Main Lobby of the hotel for assistance with dinner reservations, event tickets, tours and directions to sites in and around Northern California, or any other request that will ensure a pleasant and enjoyable visit.


There is a large wood-burning fireplace located in the hotel lobby and several of the suites also have working fireplaces.  Please refer to the room descriptions under Accommodations for more detail.

Spa Boutique 

At the Willow Stream Spa Boutique, we carry only the highest quality spa and skincare products, including Kerstin Florian International and Willow Stream Energy (a rich blend of ginger, lemongrass and sandalwood). These brands share our holistic well-being philosophies and are available in the Spa Boutique and now on our retail website.

The Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa offers locally authentic body and gift lines, including our Signature Apricot and Cream, Sonoma Lavender, and NV OrganicsGrapeseed. These products not only relax and rejuvenate, but also ccreate memorable experiences.  

We also proudly feature Salon hair care and styling products including, Aquage and Paul Mitchell, and make-up by Jane Iredale Mineral.

Non-Smoking Policy

To ensure all our guests enjoy a smoke free environment, all the resorts rooms, suites, guest room corridors, public spaces, meeting rooms, F&B outlets, Spa areas, and balconies & patios are designated as non-smoking areas including e-cigarettes.  A $250 cleaning fee will be added  if smoking of any kind occurs in a guest room or suite. Please check with the Front Desk and Concierge for the designated outside smoking areas.

Pet Policy

It is our pleasure to welcome you and your pet to Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa. 

Service animals are always welcome and allowed in all public areas.

We kindly ask that you review the following:

  • A pet cleaning fee of $75 per pet, per room will apply (no charge for service animals)
  • No more than two animals are permitted per guest room
  • Pets are not allowed at the Main Pool or Willow Stream Spa
  • Due to health regulations, pets are not permitted in our Food & Beverage venues
  • If you leave your pet unattended in your room, please ensure the following
    • A contact number is left with the front desk to reach you if needed
    • A privacy sign is placed on your door so Housekeeping does not enter in your absence 

If your unattended pet causes disturbance to other hotel guests or damage to the room, the hotel reserves the right to impose additional charges and/or remove your pet from your room

Please keep your pet on a leash at all times in public areas  You will be responsible for any damage to hotel property caused by your pet. Thank you for picking up after your pets while on hotel grounds. Plastic bags for pet waste collection are available at the front desk

If you require any additional supplies to make you or your pet’s stay more comfortable, please contact Housekeeping.
