Meet our Director of Pet Relations!
Chardonnay – full name Chardonnay Madison Fairmont – serves as our Canine Ambassador with the pooch-perfect job title of “Director of Pet Relations.” Chardonnay is a four-year-old Golden Retriever named after the iconic wine varietal that has put Sonoma on the map for decades.
Chardonnay loves welcoming fur-friends to wine country, and comes to us from Canine Guardians in nearby Napa, an organization that trains service dogs to assist and enrich the daily lives of veterans with PTSD and people with disabilities. Her unique training makes her the perfect fit for greeting fellow canines, begging for belly rubs and general tail-wagging with our hotel guests. Chardonnay is grateful to her human friends at Woof Sonoma Dog Boutique for providing dog amenities, and to Arroyo Veterinary Hospital for making sure she’s happy and healthy! Visitors can find Chardonnay in the lobby and around the hotel grounds most weekdays.
