  • Edinburgh Airport is located approx 84 km / 52 miles/ 60 minute drive from the resort. Take the scenic route from Edinburgh Airport to St Andrews, driving through picturesque fishing villages (adds approx 30 minutes to the journey).

    Glasgow Airport is located approx 119 km / 74 miles / 2 hour drive from the resort. 
    Aberdeen Airport is located approx 135 km / 84 miles /2.5 hour drive from the resort. 
    Dundee Airport is located approx 25 km / 15 miles / 25 minute drive from the resort.

  • Driving from Edinburgh 

    Take Queensferry Crossing on to the M90. At junction 8, take the A91 exit to St Andrews and continue on A91. At St Andrews follow A917 for Crail. Fairmont St Andrews is approximately 2.0 miles on the left. 

    Driving from Glasgow, take M8 towards Edinburgh. At Junction 2 turn onto M9 and follow signs for the Queensferry Crossing. Follow instructions above from Edinburgh.

  • St Andrews is not on the train line. The nearest station is Leuchars (20 minutes away from St Andrews) on the main line from London, Edinburgh and Aberdeen. St Andrews may be reached by car, taxi or by bus from Leuchars. More information available from the concierge.

Overall good House cleaning didn’t clean the room one day but not a big deal to me Disappointed with the tomahawk steak at the Fairmont bar and grill and have already given that feedback to staff

NICE BIG HOTEL ITALIAN RESTAURANT VERY DISAPPOINTING - CARBONARRA WAS LIKE LEATHER VERY UNAPPETISING. aLTHOUGH I BARELY TOUCHED IT THE WAITER DIDN;T EVEN ASK ME IF I HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE MEAL- THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED TO ME IN THE PAST. USUALLY THEY REALISE THE MEAL MUST HAVE BEEN BAD AND OFFER A REPLACEMENT. SO THAT WAS BAD IN MY VIEW.

Wonderful 5 night stay at Fairmont St. Andrews-Scotland. Room was amazing. Really didn't have a lot of time to enjoy all of the amenities but what a great view. Room 2001.

We had a wonderful stay!

The hotel is in a great location. We stayed for a week, and it was perfect for our trip, both accessible to our golf outings and central to our touring. Rooms, staff and restaurants were outstanding.
