From our arrival experience to the time we had to leave, the staff members were positively engaged. We’ll definitely be back.
Staff was great! WE are coming back on 15 DEC just because you guys did such a good jab last week!
Long time dream to stay at the plaza. My father who sadly passed, always talked about staying there for a weekend. He loved Home Alone 2 and he joked saying he would let my sister and I do that one time in our lives. Never happened. We saved and honored him with a one night stay. It was amazing and well worth it. He would have loved it.
The breakfast quality was terrible from poor inattentive services to barely edible omelet (incredibly dry and flavorless). The room was fine but showed signs of age.
Quiet room, very neat and clean with quality furnishings. Friendly and efficient staff. Nothing to complain about and I am not shy to point out negative issues.
We love the Plaza and always chose it when we stay in the city. We were very disappointed to arrive at 4:30 and our room with a guaranteed room ready at 3:00 was not ready until after 5:15. We missed a dinner with friends we hadn't seen in a long time because we didnt have time to get ready after flying cross country.
After a long and tiring flight from London, my expectations for a relaxing evening at The Plaza were high. However, the experience was somewhat underwhelming. Upon arrival in the evening, despite staying in a suite, we were surprised to find that there was no assistance offered to help with our luggage. This lack of attention to guest services was disappointing, especially considering the reputation and standards expected of such a prestigious hotel. Additionally, the concierge service left much to be desired. When seeking assistance to arrange a lunch for Sunday, we encountered unhelpful and seemingly disinterested staff. This was not only inconvenient but also contrasted sharply with the high level of service we anticipated. While The Plaza boasts impressive architecture and a rich history, our experience highlighted significant gaps in service and hospitality. It's disheartening when a renowned hotel doesn't meet the basic expectations of guest support and service
