Destination Fee

The Plaza Destination Fee applies to all published prices for hotel guest rooms and suites. This fee represents extraordinary value and significantly enhances your Plaza visit.  This fee entitles you to complimentary access or the following credits when used:

1. $50 daily Food & Beverage Credit valid in either Palm Court, Rose Club, Champagne Bar, Todd English, or In Room Dining
2. $50 daily Laundry Credit
3. $50 off Guerlain Spa Retail with minimum purchase of $100
4. Daily Bottled Water at Turndown
5. Access to the Plaza Fitness Center
6. Local and Long Distance calls

*The Destination fee of $50.00 plus tax is applied daily. Credits are applied daily and cannot be combined for multiple night stays.

Babysitting

Babysitting service is available starting at $40.00/hour with a minimum of four hours. Rates are subject to change and should be verified with the caregiver at time of booking. For information and reservations, please call: +1 (212) 546-5250.

Bell Staff / Door Staff

Bellmen are located at the Fifth Avenue Porte-cochere and in the Fifth Avenue hotel lobby. They will be happy to assist you with porterage and luggage storage.

Butler – White Glove Service

Our Butlers will provide the ultimate standard of luxury and comfort and will anticipate your every need and accommodate your every wish.

Check-In / Check-Out

Check-in time is 3:00 p.m.
Check-out time is 12:00 noon.

Concierge

Elevators

Elevators are conveniently located off the Fifth Avenue hotel lobby.

Express Check-Out

Guests who provided an address and a credit card number at time of reservation or at check-in have access to different check-out options:

  • Video Check-Out: This feature will allow the guest to review his/her account status directly from the guest room's television set. The guest only needs to follow the instructions to complete the check-out.
  • Email Check-Out: Guest receives email early morning on day of departure.

Housekeeping

We are pleased to offer twice-daily housekeeping service including turn-down service to ensure the best possible comfort of all our guests.

Laundry Services

Same-day dry-cleaning and laundry services are available seven days a week. Laundry bags and price list are located in the guest room closet.

Shoe shine service is also available.

Parking

The hotel's parking facility is off-site. Valet parking is available at a price of $95.00/night with no in-and-out privileges.  A surcharge will be applied to any oversize vehicles.

Inspired by the Fairmont Culture of Canine Ambassadors, The Plaza is introducing The Canine Companions Package offering our guests a bowl for food and water and a doggy bed to keep their furry friend comfortable and accommodated in true Plaza fashion.

 

 

 

 

 

Pet Policy

The Plaza accepts dogs up to 25 lbs. Other animals are not permitted. Pets cannot be left unattended in the guestroom. All guests checking in with a pet have to sign a release accepting responsibility for any damage caused by the pet. There is a $250.00 one-time, non-refundable fee. A portion of the fee is donated to the ASPCA. If there is damage caused by the pet the owner must pay all charges incurred in full to have it repaired. Seeing-eye dogs are always welcome. Therapy animals are also welcomed with certified documents.

Wheelchair Accessibility

The hotel has several rooms with wide doors for wheelchair access, and each bathroom offers grab bars with a roll-in-shower. Also available upon request are the following items:

  • Hearing impaired devices
  • Raised toilet seats
  • Clamp-on tub-bars
  • Night lights
  • Non-slip mats
