The Terrace Room

The Grand Ballroom

A celebration of fantasy French Renaissance architecture, the Grand Ballroom is undoubtedly one of New York’s best wedding venues. Walk the aisle beneath an elaborate canopy ceiling, with dramatic colonnades running the length of the room and crystal chandeliers casting their romantic light on the guests below. There’s a stage at one end for your string quartet, while mood lighting and the ability to decorate in any way you like ensures a ceremony that’s uniquely you. The ballroom accommodates up to 500 people, banquet style.

The Terrace Room

Separated from the Grand Ballroom by a graceful archway, the Terrace Room can be connected to the larger space or used as a separate venue for more intimate receptions. The grandeur of its 20th-century heyday has been lovingly restored, with original crystal chandeliers that mirror those hanging in the Palace of Versailles and classical frescoes adorning the ceiling. It’s hard to imagine a more impressive backdrop for your wedding photos, or a more romantic setting for exchanging your vows.

The Edwardian Room

A corner room with full-length windows along two sides, the Edwardian Room offers a backdrop of New York City landmarks including Central Park and the Pulitzer Fountain. Its Spanish Renaissance Revival architecture is richly elegant – with dark oak wainscoting, stenciled decorations and chandeliers suspended from the trussed ceiling – yet somehow, slightly more subtle than the French Renaissance ballrooms.

  • As the only German Renaissance Revival venue in the city, the Oak Room is the ideal choice for couples who are equally unique. The architecture is as intriguing as it is historic, with red wood paneling, frescoes of Bavarian castles and an intricate wooden chandelier topped by the figure of a graceful barmaid. Custom-made for a memorable party, this venue features a full bar for mixology masterpieces and a generous open space for dinner and dancing. It accommodates up to 110 guests, banquet style.
