Capilano Suspension Bridge
Visitors are invited to experience a toe-tingling trip 25 stories above the Capilano Canyon on the longest suspended footbridge in the world. The nature park also offers a large selection of colorful Totem Poles and First Nation carvers continue this centuries-old tradition on a daily basis for visitors to watch.

Just east of the downtown core, the bustling traditional Chinatown offers sightseeing in Vancouver that's a feast for the senses. Stop in at one of the many restaurants for a delicious dim sum lunch and then enjoy shopping at the various markets before visiting the tranquil Dr. Sun Yat Sen Gardens.

The birthplace of Vancouver, Gastown is the oldest part of the city and is still lined with cobblestone streets and features an authentic steam clock, shopping and restaurants.

Granville Island
Granville Island contains an array of theatres, artists studios, craft shops and a large public market. The Island also boasts many restaurants, marinas and its own brewery.

Grouse Mountain
Located 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver, this year round destination offers a skyride tram which, on a clear day, looks back onto the extraordinary beauty of Vancouver.  Enjoy downhill skiing, snowshoeing and sleigh rides in the winter or join an interpretive hike, a lumberjack competition, or try paragliding in the summer.

Stanley Park
One of North America's largest urban parks, covering 1,000 acres, the park includes an aquarium, 22 miles of hiking and walking trails, plus cycling paths, tennis courts, Indian Totem poles and a scenic drive.

Whale Watching
A 20-minute taxi ride from the Fairmont Vancouver Airport will take you to the historic fishing village of Steveston. Once in Steveston, choose your adventure for the day! Steveston Seabreeze Adventures offers Whale Watching and Ecotours in 3-5 hour excursions. With the natural beauty of the Southern Gulf Islands and the Georgia Strait as a panoramic backdrop, marvel at the sight of majestic whales in their natural habitat. You’ll have the opportunity to see Orcas, Dolphins, and Humpback Whales, as well as seals, sea lions and eagles. Lunch is offered on some tours, however our culinary team would be pleased to prepare a picnic lunch for you!
