The Inner Alster Lake is located in the city centre at Jungfernstieg and builds together with the Outer Alster Lake the maritime centre of Hamburg surrounded by its green parks and elegant white houses. You can take an exquisite stroll along its banks for 7.4 kilometres, stop now and then at little cafés like the Alsterperle, have a drink of Alsterwasser and let your gaze wander and revel over the eponymous body of water. You can also rent a rowing boat from Bodo's landing stage and enjoy the Alster from the water.
