The Reeperbahn is Hamburg's internationally famous nightlife and red-light district, it is the place with the highest club density in the world. You can find everything here: the most famous and smallest police station, a club where the Beatles started their world career, Herbertstraße, where women and young people are not allowed to enter, various red-light establishments that once attracted sailors from all over the world and much more. You really have to experience the 'Kiez' once and at least the local six theatres certainly justify taking a look around the Reeperbahn. For those looking for a more distinguished distance, we recommend the Heaven's Nest Rooftop Bar or the balcony of the Gaga nightclub for a baronial view of the hustle and bustle deep below.
