Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown is
offering its annual Christmas Day Buffet Brunch with Santa in the renowned Colonnade
on Monday, December 25. The first seating begins at 11am and the second seating at
2:30pm. Santa will stop by each table for a visit, and an electric violinist will perform
holiday favorites.
For 38 years, holiday dining in the Colonnade has become a tradition for
Washingtonians and visitors alike. The setting filled with greenery and bathed in natural
sunlight, with soaring ceilings, glass walls and crystal chandeliers, provides the perfect
surroundings for a festive dining experience.
Executive Chef Jordi Gallardo, Executive Sous Chef Jason Rowley and their
culinary team will prepare; a pancake and waffle station, an omelet station, a carving
station, a seafood station, classic breakfast items, a cheese, charcuterie and bread
display, fruit, pastries and a children’s buffet.
Executive Pastry Chef Claus Olsen’s decadent dessert buffet will offer treats for
all ages. Croquembouche, candy cane pot de crème, B-52 Pate Crackling choux,
caramel pecan cheesecake, Baileys Irish Cream yule log, gingerbread cake, black forest
tart, pear frangipane, chocolate caramel turtles, mincemeat pie, ornament fruit sphere,
French nougat and duce de leche polvorones are decadent delights.
Complimentary valet parking, sodas, coffee and tea are included along with a glass
of sparkling wine for adults. Guests may also purchase libations from Fairmont’s festive
Bloody Mary and Mimosa Bar.
Christmas Day Brunch, on Monday, December 25 is served at 11am for the first
seating and at 2:30pm for the second seating. Priced at $169 per person, $69 for children
five to 12 years old and free for children under 5 years of age, alcohol, tax and gratuity is
not included.
