Alcohol Consumption
In South Africa, you are required to be over 18 years of age to purchase and/or consume alcoholic beverages.

Credit Cards
Credit cards are widely accepted throughout South Africa. Accepted methods of payments are Cash (South African Rands), American Express, Diners Club, Visa and Mastercard.

Financial institutions will provide a credible rate of exchange switching your currency for South African Rands. Kindly visit the Hotel's Front Desk for more information about where these institutions are located.

Electrical Current
South Africa has 220-240 volt/50 cycles (Hz) per second electricity, meaning unless your computer or appliance is dual voltage 9or designed for 220 volts), you will need a converter or a transformer.  Visitors from the UK, Europe and North America will need adapters. These are made available on request from our Concierge Desk. Kindly dial 9 from your hotel room to make your request.

Although there are 11 official languages in South Africa (Afrikaans, English, isiNdebele, isiXhosa, isiZulu, Sepedi, Sesotho, Setswana, siSwati, Tshivenda, and Xitsonga), English is widely spoken.
