Excellent customer service. Well-appointed clean room with comfortable bed and fabulous shower. The hotel accommodated our request for a courtyard room, which was perfectly quiet. Breakfast on the concierge level was also excellent.

We were there overnight for a formal wedding and getting ready with insufficient lighting was frustrating. No overhead lights and very dim lamps. Even bathroom lighting was awful and light on magnifying mirror did not work. In addition there is no refrigerator space for your own water bottles and if you move mini bar items to make room you are charged.
Comfortable and clean stay at the Fairmont Georgetown and very well located to see the sites/landmarks of DC and to enjoy what Georgetown has to offer.
I was very happy with my stay at Fairmont georgetown

I can only describe my stay as a mixed bag. My room was lovely and had all the amenities I needed for a work trip; large table to work on, plenty of plugs, quiet location in the back of the hotel. Some of the staff was terrific - the breakfast staff in the conference area was helpful and attentive - the valets were also attentive, but the manager of the F&B (the restaurant and lobby bar in particular) did not a have a great bedside manner and was abrasive and rigid. My company was there for a retreat, and we had the entire conference center and I would suspect at least 300 rooms booked, and we are all professional adults, but he was not friendly when he "informed" us of the $45 corking fee for wine in the lobby, and was clearly aggravated by open tabs for our colleagues (since it was somewhat fluid and we moved around from table to table). I have no issue with the rules; only the manner of delivery. And I am sorry to inform you, but several of us saw a mouse in the restaurant (it came from the kitchen and ran in front of several tables). My meal was immediately comped before I even had the chance to mention it (my waiter saw it), which was perfect, but you ought to know that it happened. My colleagues at another table did not mention that they saw it (we compared notes later), and there meal was not comped, but they also did not make anyone aware of it.
I had only positive experiences on all fronts - the staff, the room, and the amenities. I wish I had more time to relax in my comfortable room and enjoy the beautiful courtyard.
Service was absolutely impeccable - from a seamless valet experience to rapid and pleasant front desk staff, to great and friendly housekeeping to delicious food.
I stayed at the Fairmont as part of a large group (the Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP event). The room was satisfactory and comfortable and the property was nice. Unfortunately, there was loud construction noise at times throughout my visit. My room seems to have been across from a service area so there was often loud talking and noise. In addition, I have found over the years that the "nicer" the hotel, the more you get nickel-and-dimed. Charging for internet access in 2024 is ridiculous and tacky. Moreover, when I connected to my Firm's password for internet use during meetings, the connection in my room was poor. Finally, I am not sure if there was a sundries store. If so I did not come across it so went off-site to purchase a beverage.
