PLEASE NOTE
For the month of March & April the Harvest Room will be closed for lunch on: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.  Weekday High Tea will be hosted in the Confederation Lounge.  We apologize for any inconvenience.

Fairmont Hotel Macdonald has a reputation for excellent cuisine and warm hospitality in the heart of downtown Edmonton. Our beautifully-appointed restaurant, The Harvest Room, overlooks the fabulous North Saskatchewan River Valley in Edmonton and upholds Canadian tradition in grand style. The newly created menu brims with the best AAA beef -- all the bounty for which Alberta's heartland is famous -- and our superb wine list complements any selection, including our Edmonton steakhouse fare.

At our restaurants, enjoy everything from casual fine dining, to family meals, to Royal Tea & Tour, and snacks. The Confederation Lounge offers a full menu for a relaxing outing with friends and family in our comfortable lounge or on our spectacular patio! Treat yourself to one of our many single malt scotches or a decadent Mac martini and enjoy various evening activities in Edmonton. With a wide range of specialties, our distinguished chef always prepares outstanding dining experiences.

Have a passion for art or just love live entertainment, join to observe Giselle Denis paint live.

We are very excited for Giselle as she takes off to paint abroad, we will miss you!  We look forward to welcoming you back on March 30 to paint from our Confederation Lounge!

Kid Friendly Dining

At all Fairmont hotels, kids 5 and under eat free off the children’s menu while kids 6-11 eat for half price off the regular menu. New this year is the expansion of the brand’s Lifestyle Cuisine program to children’s menus - offering a healthy twist on the usual kid-friendly favorites such as chicken strips, pizza, spaghetti with meatballs and even chocolate mousse. Chefs are in the process of swapping out refined flour for whole wheat, incorporating fruits and vegetables into recipes to help meet the recommended daily fiber allowance, and employing alternative cooking methods to help ensure healthier choices are made available to young diners.
