Big Island wild orchids and gardenias permeate the air in our spas signature treatment, available only at The Fairmont Orchid. Start with an indigenous Hawaiian mamaki & volcanic mud foot wrap to draw out tension. Lomilomi energy massage continues with organic fruit and flower oils, sweeping out old energy and bringing in fresh new energy. A one-of-a-kind Wild Orchid and Gardenia flower essence infusion with warm cloths will lift away your cares. The sweet fragrances and deeply soothing essences envelop you in the mana of the Big Island, bringing you into the delight of this present moment.
KAHINU

The nourishing properties of coconut oil have long been used by the Polynesians to condition the hair and scalp. Warm coconut oil is luxuriously poured over the head and massaged into the hair and scalp. Neck, shoulder, hand and foot massage complete this deeply relaxing and unique experience.
AWA EARTH & FIRE
Tradition / 50 minutes or 80 minutes
This Hawaiian style detoxifying treatment begins with a soothing lomilomi massage with warm coconut oil. Hawaiian botanicals gently polish the skin while warm lava rocks ease muscle tension.
SUN SOOTHER
Healing / 50 minutes
This comforting treatment for sunburned or overexposed skin cools, calms and hydrates. Lavender mist, aloe/tea-tree gel and a hydrating lotion will help you feel better immediately.
KANE
Energy / 50 minutes
From layers of lava fields, there radiates an ancient Earth energy. Combining Big Island ‘awa, ti and yellow ginger flower essences, warm coconut and kukui oils along with the rhythmic strokes of Lomilomi massage draw you into the pull of this Earth energy – soothing and cleansing. Warm pohaku stones pull out tension while a scalp and neck massage with a cooling ‘awa cream brings a healing synergy of ancient plants and earth, creating relaxation on all levels. This treatment, orginally created for men, is beneficial for anyone wanting to experience a deep physical and mental tension release.
MALAMA KINO
Radiant / 50 minutes
Receive a full body polish with Hawaiian sea salt or Hawaiian cane sugar followed by our luscious local honey that will leave your skin radiant and soft as the petals of our treasured Plumeria flower. Renew and replenish your skin with our rich body butter scented with coconut lemongrass or passion fruit to restore moisture and hydrate the skin. Malama (take care of) your body. Indoors only.
OLA PONO WAWAE
Revitalize / 50 minutes
Let the elements of the Hawaii Island soothe and revitalize your feet. Choose from Hawaiian sea salt or Hawaiian cane sugar cane to gently exfoliate your skin followed by a warm foot mask made with healing herbs and volcanic nutrients to rejuvenate your feet. During the treatment enjoy a neck, shoulder, arm and hand massage using our luscious coconut or passion fruit body butter. We then massage your feet with point specific massage techniques using warm lava rocks to release your tension and restore your mana and sense of well being.
KONA COFFEE EXFOLIATION

A taste of Kona in a way you’ve never experienced before. Coffee has long been noted for it’s antioxidant qualities to combat the signs of aging skin as the caffeine promotes circulation to help diminish the appearance of cellulite. Allow our Kona coffee to enliven your senses and renew your skin with this local exfoliating favorite. A mini massage and misting with luscious vanilla orange cream and spritz tops off this aromatic renewing experience. Indoors only.
