Overall as usual a nice experience , except for breakfasts . Children not supervised by parents or staff touching foodstuffs with their fingers putting some back and then picking up other bits of food . On one occasion a child licked a spoon and put it back in the jar which would then be used by the next unsuspecting patron!
Position of hotel excellent, staff lovely rooms still great but not fans of the meals venues, Prago as a breakfast venue is terrible, really miss casual breakfast by pool, Alligator Pear! Also the pool area, grrr. Too many little kids in the main pool, not inviting to go for a swim.
The room is old and worn out. Aircon fan cannot go above 2 as it gets very noisy. Furniture and fixtures very old looking. Wardrobe doors cannot close smoothly. Glass bottle provided for guest is not sealed. Unsure if clean enough to use for drinking.

I expected better quality from a very well-known Fairmont class hotel, but disappointment arose after on the first day of stay there was a leak in the bathroom shower hose and the air conditioner was not functioning well (a little hot) but the good thing about the first room (2141) was The hotel facilities have been renovated, but the most disappointing thing was when on the second day I paid more for a suite room (2108) but was actually moved to a room that was worse than the first room on the grounds that it was full, in this more expensive room all the facilities the room was much worse than the first room, this time the air conditioner was even hotter, what made me most disappointed was that a hotel officer came into my room at 12 noon when I was still in the room even though I was an Accor Plus Explorer member (got late facilities check out) but the officer apologized for not knowing, an unpleasant experience as an Accor Plus member at a Fairmont class hotel
We had a lovely stay in the Fairmont Singapore; most of the staff we encoutered (especially the Concierge team) were fantastic. The only thing that disappointed us was the service and food in Prego the breakfast was very good the evening not so good. The accommodation was very good.
Overall happy, service was an issue however, slow room service and when addressed it was dealt with
This is an amazing hotel and we had a wondeful stay. From the moment you enter to the time when you check out, you are made to feel welcome and special. Wonderful facilities. If I could make one negative comment, it is a shame that there is no step or disabled access to the adult pool.
