The Colonnade

For Sunday brunch, The Colonnade in the Fairmont Washington, D.C. is the place to be in America's capital city.  For the big event, The Fairmont's culinary team prepares a variety of conventional breakfast favorites and innovative gourmet specialities, all artfully styled in a seemingly infinite buffet.  The setting, filled with greenery and bathed in natural sunlight, is yet another sensory experience with its soaring ceilings, glass walls, and crystal chandeliers.  Live piano music provides the perfect accompaniment to the festive dining experience.

The Colonnade's brunch features an incredible selection of traditional breakfast favorites and gourmet specialties including house-made terrines and pates, fresh salads, shrimp and crab claws, a carving station featuring tenderloin of beef or rack of lamb, coulibiac of salmon, fresh pastas, Belgian waffles, apple-wood smoked bacon and sausage, domestic and imported cheeses, and an 18-foot dessert buffet. Taittinger Champagne and fresh squeezed fruit juices complete this endless array of palate-tempting cuisine.

The Colonnade Sunday brunch is served each Sunday from 10:30 a.m. with the last seating at 2:00 p.m.  The buffet begins to close an hour after the last seating.
