Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown is pleased to announce its fourth annual Sustainability Fair, (formerly Green Fair), to be held on Friday, August 16th from 11 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the hotel’s Colonnade Room.
The event showcases the eco, health and safety efforts of many DC-based organizations as well as the hotel’s own sustainability program. Guests will enjoy learning of these environmental initiatives by interacting with the following organizations and their representatives:

Fairmont’s Sustainability Fair is free and open to the public. Guests will be treated to honey tastings from the hotel’s rooftop hives along with vegetable dips seasoned with herbs from the hotel’s garden and healthy energy shots. Many of the participants bring complimentary samples for attendees such as energy saving light bulbs. A drawing for prizes will take place after the fair. Winner will be contacted via e-mail.
