Free Event Showcases DC’s Eco-efforts
Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown is pleased to announce its third annual Green Fair to be held on Friday, August 17, 2012 from 11 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the hotel’s Colonnade Room.
The event showcases the eco-efforts of many DC-based organizations as well as the hotel’s own green program. Guests will enjoy learning of these environmental initiatives by interacting with the following organizations and their representatives:

Fairmont’s Green Fair is free and open to the public. Guests will be treated to honey tastings from the hotel’s rooftop hives along with vegetable dips seasoned with herbs from the hotel’s garden. Many of the participants bring complimentary samples for attendees such as energy saving light bulbs.
